THUNDERBIRDS IN THE PARK - September 6, 2007
In lieu
of our regular meeting at the Legion, we
opted to have an outing with the cars at
North Glenmore Park. The evening was
very well attended with close to 20 cars and
probably 50 attendees. Burgers and
Hotdogs were generously donated by Marg &
Dan Leavens and were served up in style by
Sean Yost of M&M Meat Shops (Deer Run &
Willow Park Locations). This was the
best turn out to a T-Bird Club meeting that
I can recall and I know everyone had a great
time. Thanks to everyone who attended
and helped to make this a fantastic evening.
Hopefully we can do this again earlier in
the season next year when the temperature
and light is a bit more conducive.

6th ANNUAL CALGARY THUNDERBIRD CLUB SHOW &
SHINE - August 25, 2007
.....I'm
looking out the window as I write this, at
the cold, grey, rainy day....and feel for
the folks involved in shows scheduled for
today....and give thanks for the day that
was yesterday....The Calgary Thunderbird
Club's annual show has fast become one of
the pre-eminent shows of the season with a
wonderful cross section of Ford treasures
that compliment the fine collection of
Thunderbirds. There is great
support from the sponsors, with Universal
Ford/Lincoln being the major sponsor, and
also the provider of the venue.
As well
as all the other entrants, it was great to
see members of the Alberta Mustangs attend.
It was really nice to see owners of later
model Thunderbirds were part of the field.
This bodes well for club continuation.
The weather was perfect, the atmosphere warm
and friendly as we all reconnected at what
has become for some of us, the only time we
see each other.
The Lee
Family are masters of organizing and leading
those volunteers that work tirelessly ensure
every detail is looked after. It
was a wonderful day, that ended all too
quickly! I'm sure the Lee's are
already starting the wheels in motion for
next year!......and in a perfect
world.....can you imagine shutting down the
strip of Barlow, out in front of the venue,
for those that really want to exercise their
treasures?...What a panorama that would
be!.....sitting on the ridge...cars on the
grass...mountains in the background... and
the sound of bellowing engines and smoky
burnouts!.......aaaah!.... yessss!

....ANTICIPATION.....
.....I write this on Wednesday before Spring
Thaw.....It's snowing and beginning to
stick....our dear '81 started to hemorrhage
coolant during the off season...tightened a
couple of hoses, ran it....fine...for a
bit....had friends from out of town visit
last weekend of March...the '81 seats
four....the roadster obviously doesn't...so
into the snow and rain we go.....deliver our
friends to the airport....boot it up Shag,
on the way home....coolant smell, flume of
steam, pass. side, like a blown hose....got
home, weighed my options and nursed it to my
Ford Dealership of choice....Crowfoot....to
find out the block heater plug let
go.....the old 'Bird was handled with care
and parked in a safe place....and is good to
go....so here I am, fretting about the
weather for Sunday....so thankful it wasn't
anything more serious that would have had me
just a spectator, rather than a
participant....whew!...talk about cabin
fever!.....this show is the kick off....the
one where new winter projects debut....and
familiar favorites and faces....meet
again....see you there!...the weather be
damned!.....

The 5th Annual Thunderbird Club and Special
Interest Ford Show & Shine was held on August 26,
2006 at Universal Ford Lincoln.

5th ANNUAL CALGARY THUNDERBIRD CLUB SHOW &
SHINE
.....Another really fine show by all
accounts! The Lee family should be
proud. The weather gods outdid
themselves. The venue, Universal Ford
Lincoln, truly lends itself to our hobby.
A fine selection of 'Birds on the grass, the
mountains in the distance, the immediate
activity on Barlow......and, of course, the
other Fords that joined us, made for a
fantastic mix of treasures. A special
thanks to the Alberta Mustang Club for their
contribution to the automotive
mix.......always great to meet you!
Prizes and
trophies were, as always, first rate.
Universal has agreed to sponsor #6 and, once
again, already looking forward to it!
In the meantime, enjoy the year that will
take us there!
Martin Dickinson Contributor-at-Large.
13th ANNUAL CAMARO AND FRIENDS SHOW &
SHINE
......A perennial favorite of mine and about
300 others and definitely a must attend
every season. The weather gods dealt
their faultless card and so it was!
Such an incredible mix of treasures and a
venue that lends itself to sitting under a
shade tree, going to the mall, or just
walking around treating your senses to all
that is our hobby and environment, on a
perfect summer afternoon. The Camaro
guys and gals sure know how to put it
together!......and as the competition to
attend venues increases, this show remains
solid.

MOUNTAIN WEST THUNDERBIRD CLUB REGIONAL -
BOISE
A very big effort, by a small group of enthusiasts made
for an informal meeting of 30 'Birds....due
in part, by the participation contributed by
the Edmonton club.....and, maybe the lone
'81 from Calgary.
The weather was great, sunny and hot,....except for
some rain on the way down that generated
huge rain drops....and stepped up the
detailing a notch at destination! The
trip itself was a marvelous combination of
terrain and elevation changes....and just
the vastness of it all. We took the
scenic route there and hit the interstate to
go home....Lovin' the road trips! The
Doubletree Hotel was very nice, with a great
outdoor pool that would have been nice to
frequent, a couple of extra days.
The optional side trips and events were well done, and
all seemed to enjoy. The banquet was a
good time with everyone walking away with a
memento of some sort, to take home. As
always, there is the atmosphere of
friendship and reconnecting with
acquaintances...and of course, our
'Birds.....After this regional, the
realization that the preservation of the
Thunderbird marque is tenuous at best,
encouraged us to purchase membership in the
V.T.C.I. as I realize now, they are the
catalyst, the glue, that helps maintain
interest and encouragement to the clubs that
totally embrace their reason for being....to
preserve, enjoy, appreciate Thunderbirds!
See you in Winnipeg next year?

AMAC
23rd ANNUAL PRESIDENTIAL SHOW & SHINE
The Capitol Hill Community Association event and venue is
a great spot for this show, providing lush
grass, an open club house for the provision
of beverages and the availability of
washrooms to deal with one of the side
effects of enjoying said beverages......The
combination of both shows makes for a great
mix of treasures, that were the subject of
many a camera shot on a perfect sunny day.
AMAC has an outstanding collection of
Mustangs....what a visual and sensory
treat!......Interesting to see the new
Mustangs making their presence
known.....these are the next chapter.....as
are the NewBirds for us........and it's good
to see, and will be the the catalyst for the
continuation of club venues, which appears
to still be a growing phenomenon that is
having the effect of diluting attendance
overall. We will never be stuck for
choice!.......Now, if we only had, say, 6
months of nice weather?
Thank you AMAC for recognizing the Thunderbird marque.
It's always a great show!......and I enjoy
your company........Cheers!.......

The 2nd
ANNUAL ROLLING SCULPTURE SHOW & SHINE -
FATHERS DAY 2006 - Canmore
The event
was held at Centennial Park.....and at 52
entrants, doubled in size over last year.
The Rockies sure do make an impressive
backdrop! All the treasures were
parked on the oval track, making for
interesting aesthetics but restricting space
and movement. Canmore does not charge
for the use of the park but asks that the
entrants park on the track only, to reduce
the risk of damaging the sprinkler system
under the grass. The weather was a
pleasant cloudy with sunny periods.
The field was an interesting mix of
vehicles, both North American and European
manufacture.
We were
parked between an award winning Alpha 1750
boat tail Spyder and a DeTomaso Pantera.
The hosts were
www.rockymountainclassiccars.com and did a fine job, and took the time
to consider voting categories based on the
vehicle mix last year and pre-registrations
this year. Their registration fee is a
few dollars more, but all proceeds go to
charity. What made this show
interesting as well as the collection of
treasures, was the spectators. An
unusual mix of locals, European travelers,
American vacationers.....some, who had never
attended a Show & Shine before but were
indeed fascinated. I think this
dimension provided an added treat for the
entrants. At the end of a relaxing
venue we were enjoying a leisurely drive
home only to drive into this dark deluge of
rain........and,.......you guessed
it,.....gone in 30 seconds!......detail,
detail, detail!....all over again!

…..GONE IN 30
SECONDS
To all the T.L.C. applied to the ‘Bird in
preparation for the trip to Kelowna to
participate in the 14th
annual Okanagan Thunderbird Club Show &
Shine It was so hard to head out in
the rain, not realizing that
construction sites were waiting to apply
a slurry of mud to the ‘Bird as well! I
don’t mind detailing, it’s part of what
we do, but it’s hard to see the level
achieved disappear. The rain did not
stop 83 ‘Birds from enjoying what to me
is one of my favorite shows of the
season. It’s great to reconnect with
acquaintances, realizing that another
year has gone by! The venue at the
lakefront is so nice. I did get the
sense that the Ramada is reaching
capacity for this gathering. That said,
they sure know how to prepare a
banquet. The food is consistently
good. For a second year since I started
attending, the rainy weather gave way to
sunshine and blue sky for the show and
again the venue was most enjoyable. The
weather continued to improve from that
point on.
Some observations……For the second year in a
row, a Restomod won Best of Show…..a
trend? 83 registrations is a record.
There were 14 Newbirds in attendance.
There appears to be no real change in
age demographic. Most Newbird owners
also own one or more other ’Birds,
leading me to wonder if the younger
generation will, at some point
ask…”Where have all the T-Birds
gone?...Long time passing” The NewBirds
are the last of the line and like all
other ‘Birds, are dearly loved by their
owners and should be recognized as such
in what I think should be a revamp of
the judging categories. As the owner of
2 ‘Birds in the ’67 to 2005 category, it
would be nice to enjoy some recognition,
from time to time, as do owners in the
established categories. I think change
will reflect a continued interest in the
Thunderbird marque. In the meantime I
will continue to drive my Thunderbirds
‘till they pry the keys from my cold,
dead hand. Give some thought to
attending next year. It will be the 15th
Annual that will start a day earlier and
involve the V.T.C.I.
I’m booked!

……THUNDERBIRDS OF ENGLAND…….
On a recent trip to Bristol England, to
visit our resident son, I had, on a
whim, contacted the Thunderbirds of
England Club. It turns out they were
getting together a Saturday I would be
there, that also happened to be my
Birthday. Son, Dave and I rented a car
and met them at the Black Swan Pub in
Surrey, about a 2 hour drive from
Bristol. We arrive at the pub to see 5
lovingly cared for ‘Birds…..a ’60
Hardtop…a ’63 Hardtop……a ’64 Hardtop……a
’62 Hardtop…..and a ’66 Convertible. We
head on in to the pub, pints are served
introductions are made, hands are shaken
and the realization hits that some of
the 14 members in attendance, I had met
in Portland last season! The Club, in
total has about 60 members. Their
Treasures coming from sources like
Military personnel posted in England and
Germany or straight importation from the
U.S. or Europe….some have been on
British soil for many years and change
from one enthusiast to another….some,
waiting years for the opportunity for
ownership. It was a truly unique
afternoon, a small world and a great
Birthday!
On Saturday, as I’m freezing to death,
washing the ’81 (who is now 25 years
old), I’m thinking this is not so good
but I’ll get her ready and make the
decision Sunday Morning. Needless to
say Sunday was much better though the
wind was cool, but not cool enough to
stop about 350 treasures to attend.
After the Winter months, it’s always a
treat to see the Treasures, some
regulars, always some new, making their
debut. For me it’s also the realization
of how many seasonal acquaintances I
have and connecting once again for a new
season. Enthusiasm was in the air with
the anticipation of a great season
ahead………
Sept '05
AIRDRIE / HIGH RIVER SHOW & SHINE
WEEKEND…..AND END OF THE SEASON
…….Both had last taste of summer
weather…..both had approx. 350
treasures……both were very well
organized….both were good fun for that final
fix. Airdrie provided extra suspense as
three people missed picking up Westjet
tickets to anywhere they fly in North
America….Attendance is mandatory to claim
the tickets…..I can’t imagine explaining
that to my wife!.......Shows of this size
generate healthy 50/50 draws and both shows
did just that…..I think I enjoyed just
standing and watching all the treasures as
they left the park…..the sounds and the
smells were a delight to the senses. High
River was a stand out by virtue of the fact,
I have never seen such a diverse collection
of treasures….ever!.....from a brand new
Aston Martin DB9………to a pair of American
Bantams, lovingly restored…..a convertible
and a pick-up…..also a wonderful European
collection……all of which adds to an already
sensory delight…..Downtown High River became
the Motor City for an afternoon and it was a
great place to be. Thank heavens we didn’t
have to fill judging forms!......I thinks
there were treasures on every
street!......So…..let’s see…..Kelowna at the
end of next May?.....wait….Spring Thaw is
sooner than that….and the ’81 will be
25……..and the long wait begins yet
again!..............just remember our
monthly meets at the Legion….a place to
console each other as the snow
flies……Cheers!

OUR 4th ANNUAL SHOW & SHINE
2005 - The Calgary Thunderbird Club
4th Annual Show & Shine
was held on August 27, 2005 at Universal Ford Lincoln.
The day was a great success with a good representation of many
vintages. Check out show results and pictures
here.
……What an incredible show…….To all who were
involved in bringing the show to reality…….a
huge thanks! ……you have created a benchmark in
terms of organizing a great show. The weather
was perfect. The venue worked well. The
Thunderbirds assembled on the grass was quite a
sight! The collaboration with the Alberta
Mustang Club worked very well as did the Special
Interest Ford category…….more of which we will
see in the future, as it appears Thunderbird
struggles as a stand-alone show. A special
thanks to those who were able to bring more than
one of their collection to participate in the
show. The trophies, sponsors, and recognition
of all the categories was first rate. For those
of us who just had to arrive, register and
enjoy, it was a wonderful relaxing day………Thank
You!
CAMARO AND FRIENDS ANNUAL SHOW & SHINE
……What a great weather week-end…..as the weather
continued into Sunday. After our incredible
Show the day before, here was this perennial
favorite on our local show circuit. This year
generated approx. 300 entrants……and a fine
collection it was!....... The North East corner
of the parking lot absolutely sparkled amongst
the crowd. As always it was very well
organized, a fifty-fifty door prize of $250.00
and some first rate door prizes. Always a nice
mix of Clubs in attendance, as well as
individual entries. Probably one of the most
unique and talked about was the Fiero Club’s
complement of 10 cars….Always great to
acknowledge other Club’s cars and members…..In
another couple of days we turn the page on the
calendar …..Yikes!....where is the season going?
50 YEARS OF THUNDER/V.T.T.C. 2005 CONVENTION,
PORTLAND
Great show, great weather, nice venue……106
‘Birds…..of which 16 were NewBirds……as such, we
got to see some colours we hadn’t seen
before……Needless to say the balance of the
‘Birds were a fine collection. .We got to cruise
up the Columbia Gorge by land and by water
giving us a sense of the geography of the area.
The Hotel venue worked well and the weather was
warm and sunny. As always, we met some really
nice folks as well as some of the more familiar
faces involved in this hobby. The trips there
and back were made on excellent roads with lots
of change of terrain. On our return the weather
changed abruptly in Turner Valley and I thought
for sure Summer was gone at that point….glad the
warm weather returned!
NANTON CRUISE -
Chinook Country Cruisers
Show & Shine
On Saturday, August 13, Club
members Samantha Galpin, Steve Rubio (and kids), Pamela & Geoffrey
Spriggs, myself (Mike Hartley) and Dave Spencer headed to Nanton for the Chinook Country Cruisers
show. It was a beautiful day for a cruise. The Show and
Shine was held in the park just North of the Nanton Air Museum.
There were many interesting and beautiful cars in attendance. We
plan to go back again next year and next year we'll coordinate to get
some pictures up on the site. - Mike Hartley

Report on the 2nd Annual CROSSFIELD
SHOW & SHINE
…….Other than the fact that I rolled into town one
day early…..thinking that the 10th was
Saturday……Anyone else done this? …. Wound up
carrying on up the road to Rimbey and watched the
drags for a while….Sunday I arrive back in
Crossfield early enough to help them set up and
this was at 10:30am. It was a perfect day and a
laid back setting that attracted approx. 100
treasures on a venue of grass. Lots of new
treasures to see. Including an older local resident
who asked if he could show his ’85 Cutlass that he
had factory ordered. He went home to get it.
And what a nice example it was!.......and the old
gentleman thoroughly enjoyed himself for the
afternoon….A couple stopped by in a Smart to have a
look….They took the invitation to register. The
Smart became showcased as it fit quite nicely under
the registration tent!.....It was just a really nice
atmosphere to be part of for the afternoon. I’m
thinking they will be looking for a larger venue
next year!

| July '05 - Black Diamond Cruise |
On July 31st, club members,
Dale Lee, Larry & Gladys Lee, Ron Paliwoda & Barb Edy, Jeff & Gary
Staniloff, Peter & Tish Dziuba, Ken Seiferling, Dave Spencer and myself,
assembled at the Legion for
a cruise to Black Diamond and Marv's Classic Soda Shop.
It was a great day for a
cruise albeit a bit warm (I remember spending a lot of time checking the
New Yorker's temperature gauge).
We had a beautiful
cruise through the scenic foothills and everyone enjoyed the drive.
Marv's was quite busy, not surprising as Black Diamond was even hotter
than Calgary.
Ice cream seemed the order of the day.
Everyone had a blast
looking through the memorabilia and
antiques that fill the back of Marv's shop. Dale & I
fired up the one-man-band-player piano as Marv & crew served up lunch &
ice cream snacks.
There were also
treasures to be found. Peter found an old table hockey game which
he snapped up for ten bucks and Dale found a hand-made guitar to add to
his collection. Some club members gathered on the front porch to
enjoy the shade and watch the traffic go by. Soon it was time to
head out for home via Bragg Creek.
Ron and Barb
graciously invited us all back to their place for a barbeque.
Burgers and Corn on the cob! Geoff & Pamela Spriggs and Steve &
Maggie Saunders joined us there for dinner and bevies. All in all
it was a fantastic day. Thanks to Ron & Barb for their
hospitality. Looking forward to the next cruise.

Report on the 13th Annual OKANAGAN CLASSIC
THUNDERBIRD CLUB Show & Shine
………What a great week-end!......the weather was perfect
……the venue is always nice…..and the food is always
good…….and typically always the first road trip of the
season……Just under 80 ‘Birds……including 8 NewBirds……one
of which ( a Merlot) won 1967 to present……Does this mean
we are on the map?......As always a nice collection of
Baby ‘Birds…..one of which ( a Restomod that was
awesome) won Best of Show……Could be new trends?......A
nice mix of other ‘Birds in between, bringing me to
congratulate Dale and Larry on their consistent show
winners!......It was great fun and went way too
fast!.....You wait for this show every year only to have
it flash past!......We’ll have to consider doing the 3
Day tour that takes place after the Show……I bet it’s
good fun…….So to the Club and it’s gracious hosts…..many
thanks…..already looking forward to next
year!........maybe you might consider coming next
year?........

RECAPS AND UPDATES
Just wanted to thank Ron Paliwoda in print for his interactive
presentation at our April meeting. Everyone really
enjoyed that. Living in Southern Ontario during my
teens, Ron brought back those warm humid nights, hanging
out at the A&W and the Red Barn, driving Mom’s Morris
Minor, parking with the 327….390….383.Big Dogs!
Barb Edy has been kind enough to provide us with Ron's
story, "Remembering the '60s" and photo, for
inclusion in the website. Check it out.
Our May meeting was most enjoyable. We sure kept the
kitchen busy! I never tire of seeing a collection of
Thunderbirds, and what a fine collection we have! It
was nice to spend some time in the parking lot with our
collection. Thanks Keith, for organizing the name tags.
They turned out well!.....perfect colour!
Spring Thaw is already history but what a great
show…..and perfect weather. It exemplified the fact
that the interest in our hobby is growing
rapidly….gasoline at a $1.00 / litre notwithstanding!
Can you imagine if the weather was more predictable.
Which brings us to Didsbury tomorrow….The meeting place
is the north east corner of the Deerfoot Mall at 7:30
a.m …..departing 8:00. It is a street show and the
business community is open for you!
The other show this month is the Okanagan Classic
Thunderbird Club, Kelowna. Meeting spot is McDonald’s,
across from C.O.P. …7:30 a.m….departing 8:00…….stopping
for lunch just the other side of 3 Valley Gap…Always a
good show and a good time! …..great drive too! See our
events section for more.
This brings us to June….already! Our meeting will be on
June 2…..see you there? First tour is Reynolds Museum’s
History Road June 11&12…..meeting time at Deerfoot Mall
to be decided at the next meeting.
For
those members more adventuresome ……Vintage Thunderbird
Club International’s 50th Anniversary
Celebration in Dearborn……June 17….refer to
www.vintagethunderbirdclub.org for more.
A little closer to home……Saturday, June 25 …..is set for
our highway cleanup on our strip of Highway #1 just the
other side of Chestermere….meeting at 10:00am…..that
culminates a couple of hours later at the Station in
Strathmore for a bite and bevies…..We will post a map……
always a good time and a good sense community
achievement.

ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL SILENT AUCTION!
Hello to the members who couldn’t attend.
You missed a great evening. As always the generosity of our
membership is an inspiration. We had a lot of fun while
exceeding our objective. Thank you to all who contributed and
participated. Enjoy your booty! The final tally will be reported
by Samantha, at the next meeting. She will also update
membership renewals. Thanks to all those that have done so to
date. This will ensure a good monetary base to operate from.
Keith is continuing to work on securing reasonably priced name
tags for purchase by our membership ……. more to come.
Our next meeting is on April 7 and for your dining and dancing
pleasure, Ron is going to facilitate an interactive presentation
…….. So do come and join us in a relaxing venue with good food
and bevies! We are fortunate in having a gathering spot like
this at no charge. As our time in the sun approaches, you are
encouraged to drive your treasures to the meeting. We will make
it short, then go outside and show and spend some time with what
brings us together.

Hello to
the membership that where unable to attend our monthly get
together. Thanks Steve, for your presentation on the NewBirds.
Your enthusiasm shone through! What appears to be apparent
with NewBird enthusiasts is that colour polarization is
immediate. For me, it was the Inspiration Yellow, and for
Donna, it will always be Thunderbird Blue.
We have
all gravitated toward our involvement with Thunderbirds for many
different reasons resulting in the choices we own and care for.
I don’t think the Thunderbird was ever a car for the masses and
I believe it’s their uniqueness that brings us together. As
Steve suggested, it would be great to learn the why’s and the
wherefores of the Thunderbirds that are part of our lives.
February
was also the month chosen to implement an all membership renewal
plan that would assist and simplify the process to ensure a
viable revenue operating base for the club.

... YEAR
ONE! ...
December 29/ 2004 marked our first year with our beloved
Roadster. Some days it seems like we’ve had it longer……other
days, it’s like we just took delivery. All from a seed that was
planted September 2001, at our first Annual Calgary Thunderbird
Club Show&Shine at Crowfoot Ford. The dealer principle very
graciously provided an Inspiration Yellow example for members to
sample. Just like the rest of the members, it stole our
hearts!......But the feeling never left. Colour polarization
of these Roadsters is immediate. For me, it was always
Inspiration Yellow….For my wife, it will always be Thunderbird
Blue. There was an owner’s Thunderbird Blue for display only
that day……but he’d bought high…..wanted to sell high. Had there
been a little creativity in the air that day, this article
wouldn’t have been written…..But you know, there will be an
addition to our ‘Birds one day!.....Timing and the alignment of
the stars!.....and voila’ an Inspiration Yellow Roadster enters
our lives, like it was in the natural order of things.
I’d bought
the Mustang G.T. for a whole different set of reasons……and a
damn fine, trouble free ride it was…..But I think a transition
had been in the works for some time and when it came time to
hand off the keys….there were no regrets…..Just a sense that it
was destined and we were left sitting in our dream car…..and
what a journey it has taken us on!

DECEMBER’S
MONTHLY MEETING ...
It all started
with Steve Saunder’s suggestion at the November meeting, that
December’s meeting should be festive……bring some goodies…..kick back
and relax….and no ….not a revenue generating bake sale…..but just
for fun for us…..Well! for those of you that missed it…..it was a
uniquely wonderful and relaxing get together…..well attended and one
of those evenings that just flew by with thoughts
of….Jeez!....didn’t have chance to try all the treats and talk to
everyone! I have to say, we have some talented and
creative folks among us! It was uniquely wonderful because
it won’t happen again. As it turns out, we broke some
health rules relative to bringing goodies into the Legion for our
own consumption. Thanks to the Legion for not taking
issue……..Cheers! to you all!....See you next year!....(can you
believe that?)

… WHAT TO
DO???? ...
As I look toward
next season (which gets me through the winter) I am struck by the
simplicity of it all. Our hobby is typically 4 months
long….June, July, August, September….Typically each month has 4
week-ends. Our hobby is growing every year.
For a Show&Shine junkie like me, that’s approx. 24
opportunities…..or Saturdays only, 12 opportunities. ( There are
some Friday evening shows during maximum evening light in B.C.).
That’s fine for me, because I enjoy being surrounded by cars and car
people, warmth, sunshine and
relaxing……But does that address what the club wants?
Amongst our limited time frame, I plan to attend Thunderbird
specific shows that will take us as far as Oregon…..any
interest?......Cruises? …any cruisers amongst us?......other
suggestions?
I will post
what’s going on during the season. It will be up to you to
participate, decide, or suggest alternate options...which stimulates
the fascination with why we are all part of a club…….enlighten me
please!
